Hello

Welcome

I serve as a Spiritual Director and facilitator of introspective breathwork in my private practice, where I incorporate various healing practices. Spiritual direction, a nearly 2,000-year-old tradition in Christianity, provides a safe space to explore questions of faith and pathways to deepen intimacy with God through Jesus Christ.

What is Spiritual Direction? Spiritual direction is an invitation to deeper listening. In this process, the directee and director listen together for the movement of God in the directee’s life, exploring healing practices that foster spiritual growth. Seeking out spiritual direction, a way of soul companioning, can be prompted by various experiences: feeling called by something or Someone larger than ourselves and wanting to explore this; spiritual questions arising in the context of our relationships and work; a deepening of childhood faith; a sense of transition, sometimes sparked by crisis or change; or a call from Christ to deepen our relationship with Him. Throughout life, we are called into an ongoing From…Through…To transformational journey: we move from where we are, through the experiences of our lives and the call of God arising from these circumstances, to a new and deepened sense of Divine disclosure and presence. Spiritual direction and introspective breathwork can support us in integrating these new insights into our current spiritual understanding. Direction can be provided in one or several sessions to help us discern our path, or it can be an ongoing monthly relationship with a director. It is taken for granted that the Holy Spirit is always present in our conversations.

Conscious Connected Breathwork Our breath is always with us. A deep inhalation is the first thing we do when we enter this world at birth, and an exhalation of breath will be the last thing we do as we leave this life. The Scriptures say that God breathed life into us at Creation, and Jesus imparted the Holy Spirit through His breath. When utilized consciously, breath can renew and heal our mind, body, and spirit, serving as a medicine that reconnects us to embodied presence, the deeper awareness of how we carry our emotions in our body. This form of introspective breathwork can be integrated into various healing practices and can provide the following benefits: • Restoration and recalibration of the nervous system • Release of trauma patterns and responses • Relief from anxiety and stress • A clearer connection to the needs of the body • Improved overall physical health, sleep, and wellbeing • A newfound sense of self-worth, self-love, and empowerment • A sense of freedom, clarity, balance, peace, and the unitive love of God. I am a trained trauma-informed Introspective Breathwork facilitator through One Breath Institute, and I also offer spiritual direction to support your journey.

Neshama in Hebrew refers to the soul, our spirit, often translated as Breath. My interest and training in introspective breathwork comes from the significant impact this healing practice has had in my own life, alongside a strong belief that the body, mind, and soul are deeply interconnected and oriented toward our healing. Spiritually, conscious connective breathwork invites us into deeper, unitive levels of awareness, allowing us to experience profound shifts within our heart space and our relational field with others. Through this process, we may gain a more embodied understanding of our identity as loved and held in union with God. You are invited to embark on the journey of breathwork, exploring its potential as a healing practice that catalyzes introspective and psychophysical healing and integration on your unique path as a human being, often guided by spiritual direction.

Faith is taking the first step even when you don't see the whole staircase.
